When deciding which Candidate to vote for in any election, I believe that two major questions play an important role:
What has the candidate done in the past? What will the candidate do in the future?
During my first term on the City Council:
Accomplishments
- Revitalized the Public Library System
- Opened two new Fire Stations
- Increased Police and Fire Personnel
- Opened the Soccer Park
- The Cypress Ave. Bridge project in progress
- Widening of South Bonneyview
- Widening of Churn Creek Road
- Removed the roof from Downtown Mall
- Began Phase One work on the Stillwater Business Park
In The Future:
Challenges-Opportunities
- Continue improving the Downtown area, work to attract a first run movie theatre.
Encourage outside dining and open green spaces to encourage pedestrians.
- Fiscal Responsibility
I will work to maintain the 10 year Budget Plan, assure a minimum 5% reserve. I will not commit to one-time money, to on-going costs.
- Avoid Sprawl
Encourage in-fill development
- Growth
Growth should pay for its self and traffic circulation.

I want a Redding that in 2058, can boast of being a City where families still enjoy a high quality of life.
Redding will have a revitalized thriving downtown core, traffic that moves smoothly, clean air and open spaces.
A vibrant, prosperous business community, which will provide good paying jobs. The cultural environment, museums, theaters, and recreation will grow to meet the people’s needs.
I want a Redding that my grandchildren and yours will be proud to call home.
